COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS experiences are not a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment.
COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS does not diagnose medical or psychological conditions, perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, provide counselling, nor interfere with the treatment of licensed medical or psychological professionals.
COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS makes no claims to heal medical or psychological conditions; or any healing subsequent to.
By registering for a COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS experience, you agree that you are 18 years of age or older, and that you are in a reasonable state of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. This means you have no past history of the ‘contraindications or conditions’ as mentioned below and deem yourself fit to participate in COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS experiences.
COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS experiences have been known to create psychological and physiological shifts in the body, including but not limited to raising blood pressure, heart rate, altering blood flow to the brain and inducing a sympathetic nervous system response in the body. We strongly advise against practising COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS breathwork/cold exposure techniques or registering for a COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS experiences, without approval from your medical professional and COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS team, if you have any of the known medical contraindications. Such contraindications conditions include, but are not limited to, cardiovascular disease/condition, heart attack, high blood pressure, strokes, glaucoma or retinal detachment, recent injury or surgery, panic attacks or psychosis, seizures, epileptic, severe mental illness, aneurysms (or family history), any condition that requires you to take medication that may impact your clarity of mind, physical function and emotional health, or any other serious physical or mental health conditions. We strongly advised that anyone with these medical contraindications or concerns of a medical nature should consult their medical professional before practising breathwork/cold exposure at home or registering for an event. If you do register for an event with the written approval of your medical professional, please inform COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS team prior to registering for an event so we can alter the session accordingly for you.
Out of precaution we also advice against practising breathwork/cold exposure at home if you are looking to conceive, are pregnant or are breastfeeding. In saying this a C2BC event session can be altered for you, so if you would like to attend an event please consult with your medical professional and inform COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS team prior to registering for an event.
You, the participant, will not use alcohol or recreational drugs directly prior or during practice of any of the COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS experiences or techniques.
You, the participant, agree to hold COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS and their Practitioners, as well as the teachers and facilitators of COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS harmless against all loss, damage, harm, injury, death, liability or expense arising out of, or in connection with anything owned or controlled by COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS, or resulting from any acts, failure to act, or negligence of COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS or its agents. This includes any injury, harm, discomfort, or death that occurs during an experience provided by COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS.
COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS experiences can have strong physiological and emotional effects and must be practised as instructed. Always listen to the signals from your body, intuition and logic to ensure you are making choices that are personally right for you and your health.
COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS Practitioners are not trained psychologists or medical professionals. They specialise in facilitating breathwork and meditation as a modality to regulate the nervous system. When you attend any paid or free events you understand there is a responsibility on your behalf to make sure you are mentally and physically healthy to attend.
COOL 2BE CONSCIOUS head Practitioners Ru and Ry have undergone multiple programs attaining recognition as qualified breathwork and meditation facilitators. Community facilitators have undergone comprehensive training to qualify as breathwork and meditation facilitators, focused on science and physiology, the nervous system and how to facilitate and hold the processing of stored trauma.
